Shooting has started and this time India hit inside Pak in addition to PoK. It won't escalate to nuclear as Pak will face intense pressure from US and other countries. They do have long range missiles and may fire at Indian targets. It is an ego issue for Pak Army. They have to retaliate, otherwise the current Army Chief will be removed or killed by his deputies. It was so stupid that in 1971 they didn't setup controlling position in Pakistan and got rid of their army. Like US did with Germany and Japan.
It takes time for 3 services to get deployed and battle ready. Israel took one month to retaliate against a non-military Hamas. Pak is much bigger and stronger. Right thing to do would be to bomb few military establishments and ISI places. Start with posts on LOC and capture them. Only then will they realise the severity and seriousness.

I don't have to describe the operation Israel did and why they may have taken longer. Point here is that if intention was to simply target few madarsas then there was no need to wait two weeks. No need to give chest thumping bhashan that we will hunt the terrorists. Did they kill any terrorist? They killed simple civilians and lost 3 rafales in the process. Who names operation sindoor? Is this akshay kumar movie? This whole operation has placating Indian population written all over it. Nothing material is achieved. Just some more chest thumping bhashan.
